Learn from what you open

Count opens and feature usage inside MainTab to improve relevance and understand product usage. Analytics excludes bookmark content and search text; feature counts are kept for up to 90 days. This doesn’t track other browser activity.

Repeated opens within a minute count once. Turning this off also stops using past opens for ranking; stored history remains until you clear it.

Show website icons

Fetch each site’s public favicon through MainTab. Only the domain is requested, never your bookmark path or notes. This is separate from page previews and AI, including for private bookmarks.

Fetch page previews

Fetch titles and descriptions from public pages. Disable this for newly processed links.

Enable AI assistance

Use TypeSafe Jev for classification and the configured OpenAI or OpenRouter provider for paid AI assistance, monitoring, and discovery. These services receive non-private page summaries and relevant queries. Personal notes are excluded.

Include sensitive links in suggestions

Off by default. Adult, health, political, religious, and other potentially sensitive content stays out of Within reach and Today resources when detected locally. Individual link overrides take priority.

Show occasional feature tips

At most one tip every three days across your devices. Turn this back on to resume tips.
